Dr Zohra Alimie
General Practitioner, Female, MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Zohra Alimie has been a doctor for 13 years. She is a Specialist General Practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with a clinical distinction from the University of Tasmania in 2012. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Zohra Alimie is passionate about delivering a holistic approach to patient care through a collaborative patient centred approach. She appreciates the importance of a therapeutic relationship to attain optimal health outcomes.
Dr Zohra Alimie enjoys working across the spectrum of General Practice to ensure a whole person approach. She has special interests in women's health, mental health, occupational health, child and youth health, older person's health, chronic disease and complex care, and preventative health. She is also a SIRA Authorised Medical Practitioner NSW.
Dr Zohra Alimie also works in an academic role as a GP Clinical Editor developing clinical guidelines for other doctors, so is at the forefront of latest medical advances and knowledge.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children and family, reading and travelling.
